Pasin-Pin®
Pasin-Pin®
The versatile mini implant screw
The versatile mini implant screw
The Pasin-Pin® system was developed to offer maximum flexibility in orthodontic therapy.
The coupling option between the implant and the anchoring device is not system-bound and thus offers the practitioner maximum treatment flexibility. All shapes of round and square wires up to a dimension of 1.15 mm (0.046 inch) can be securely and stably attached using a screwable connection. Pasin-Pin implants are made of titanium grade 5 (Ti6AL4V) and have a self-drilling, self-tapping thread. This material is characterized above all by high strength and biocompatibility. This material has excellent mechanical properties and strength, especially for orthodontic implants with a small diameter.
- The Pasin-Pin® is available in various diameters and lengths for the upper and lower jaw.
- The length specification of the Pasin-Pin® results from the thread length and the transgingival part. The head of the Pasin-Pin® has a slot width of 1.2 mm (0.047 inch).
- The coupling elements (square wires, round wires, etc.) are fixed using the screwable connection Pasin-Pin® Fix Cap. In addition, for non-slot-filling wires, a light-curing composite can be used to stabilize the wire.
-
Rotational Stability:
When the orthodontic appliance is dismantled from the Pasin-Pin® or when the screwed Pasin-Pin® Fix Cap is loosened, the implant becomes rotationally stable thanks to stabilization of the appliance and unintentional unscrewing of the implant is prevented. - A small distance of only 0.4 mm between the transgingival part of the implant and the anchoring wire ensures low leverage and shear forces, which prevent loosening of the implant.
- The Pasin-Pin® is delivered sterile and guarantees an absolutely clean surface. The surface is free of organic and inorganic particles and toxins to prevent premature implant loss.

- The BioBiteCorrector® SP supports the forward movement of the lower jaw with an internal spring.
- The BioBiteCorrector® MS works as a passive-rigid appliance based on the Herbst hinge philosophy. This can always advance the lower jaw directly and precisely into the neutral toothing on both sides and therefore has no springs.
- BioBiteCorrector® versions MS (without spring) and SP (with spring) have a screw connector. These versions can be screwed to a square wire. The minimum recommended gauge is .017 x .025 inch stainless steel wire. The largest wire dimension that can be used is .025 x .025 stainless steel wire.
- BioBiteCorrector® versions MS and SP are always placed interproximal due to the screw connector. In the lower jaw, the screw connector between the canine and 1. Premolar and maxillary between 2. Premolar and 1st molar placed.
